Harvest Getaway Package Lets Guests Play Winemaker

Guests can work hard and play hard with the harvest crew for a day



Newberg, OR (September 29, 2011) – To celebrate Chehalem Wines’ 25th Harvest Anniversary Wine release, the winery has created, a unique getaway package designed for guests to participate in the October crush – the Chehalem Harvest Package. Guests will work the harvest, dine with the Chehalem crew, and then retreat back to their plush room where a complimentary bottle of wine awaits.

With the Chehalem Harvest Package guests can select their lodging experience with the option to stay in the city or the country. Guests can choose between Kimpton’s Hotel Vintage Plaza (Portland, OR) or the Brookside Inn bed and breakfast (Carlton, OR), with both properties offering 20% off room rates. Other package components include:

 

  • 2-night stay with 20% discount at one of two select properties
    • Hotel Vintage Plaza (Portland, OR)
    • Brookside Inn (Carlton, OR)
  • 1 day working harvest at Chehalem Wines
  • Lunch in the vineyard provided by Chehalem
  • Bottle of Chehalem wine in-room
