“Kids Eat Free Tuesdays” Promotion Is Back At Paciugo Gelato & Caffè

This summer, Paciugo treats kids to a free, culturally enriching gelato every Tuesday

DALLAS – (June 23, 2011) – Longer days, brighter sunshine, and oh wait, the kids aren’t in school anymore…Summer is here, and Paciugo Gelato & Caffè “Kids Eat Free Tuesdays” promotion is back just in time.  Take a break from the heat and have some fun with your kids by sharing authentic Italian gelato from participating Paciugo stores – up to three Bambino Cups FREE, with every adult purchase!

 “Kids Eat Free Tuesdays” kicked off last year with a month-long promotion, but we decided that one month wasn’t enough.  We love your kids (almost) as much as you do, so we’re doubling the gelato love. Every Tuesday, from July 5th to August 30th, from 4 PM - 9 PM, kids can choose from one of 30 fresh, inventive gelato flavors for the small fee of…nothing.  Yes, kids 12 years old and younger can stake their claim on a Bambino Cup of their choice of gelato with every adult purchase (limit three Bambino Cups per adult order). 

“In the spirit of Italy, Kids Eat Free Tuesdays brings families together through gelato,” says Paciugo co-founder Ugo Ginatta. “The tradition of going out for gelato helps foster communities and friendships, and piques kids’ interest in Italian culture, traditions and way of life.”

For two years now, Paciugo has been encouraging families to join in this annual summertime promotion -- to taste from a wide variety of authentic Italian flavors, and to provide children with some culturally rich, fun and engaging activities at select participating stores. 

A few of the activities planned for this year’s “Kids Eat Free Tuesdays” promotion include, but are not limited to, an interactive and educational “Get To Know Your Buds” activity, where kids can map out their taste buds. There will also be an array of coloring sheets, balloons, and Paciugo ‘staches. 

Each Paciugo Gelato & Caffè freshly handcrafts more than 30 flavors of gelato and sorbet each morning in small batches, using wholesome ingredients such as whole pasteurized milk, cane sugar, hand-squeezed fruit juices and seasonal fruit from local farmers, Belgian chocolate and Italian hazelnuts, pistachios and candied amarena cherries. 

In addition to gelato, the brand’s menu features ethically sourced, fairly traded 100% Arabica coffees and espresso-based drinks, as well as gelato-based specialty drinks and desserts, and premium hot chocolate.
