Ring in the New Year, Disco Style
Portland supper club, The Original Dinerant, hosts New Year’s Eve 2012 for good fun and a good cause
Portland, OR (December 2, 2011) — Looking for a rockin’ New Year’s Eve Party? The Original Dinerant has it covered. Comb out your afro, dig out those polyester flares and toast as the clock strikes twelve at The Original Dinerant’s disco-style New Year’s Eve bash, hosted upstairs in its window-lined Retro-Luxe Party Loft overlooking downtown.
The Original Dinerant feels suspended in time: a unique blend of roadside diner and 1960’s Las Vegas supper club—perfect for a night of disco. So, when the clock strikes 12 a.m. on January 1, the champagne glasses will be toasting, the sparkling wine overflowing and the music and Studio 54-inspired disco ball spinning up the late night party at this hot spot in downtown Portland.
The Original will provide a dessert bar, two cocktails and, of course, a champagne toast for partygoers. The restaurant is donating $10 from each ticket to Ecotrust’s Food + Farms Program, an organization dedicated to bringing awareness to local agriculture and locally sourced school lunch programs.
The New Year’s Eve Bash begins at 10 p.m. on December 31 and continues until 2 a.m. The night costs $40 and will include a dessert buffet, two cocktails, and champagne for the midnight toast.
On January 1 The Original will help revelers nurse their throbbing head and empty stomach with some Hangover Brunch specials.
To RSVP, call 503-526-2666 or buy tickets at the door. For more information, visit www.theorginaldinerant.com and follow the blog at www.blog.originaldinerant.com. The Original is located at 300 SW 6th Avenue, Portland, OR 97204.
