Welcome Wine Expert Pamela Lenzi for a Tuscan Pig Roast

WHAT

Join Bastas Trattoria Chef/Owner Marco Frattaroli as he welcomes back wine expert and co-owner of Tuscan winery Fattoria di Petroio, Pamela Lenzi, for an anniversary Tuscan Pig Roast on July 21st. For this special visit, Frattaroli will prepare a family-style feast to complement Lenzi's estate wines from her vineyard in the Tuscan countryside.

 

"Lenzi paired wines at Bastas' very first Tuscan Pig Roast back in the 90's, so we're glad to welcome her back and get the opportunity to taste through some of her current vintages," says Frattaroli.

 

Frattaroli will be roasting two pigs over hardwood charcoal, carving them table-side, and serving guests a multi-course, family-style Tuscan feast paired with wines from Lenzi's Petroio Estates, located outside of Sienna, Italy. In line with the traditional Tuscan style of roasting pigs, these whole roasted hogs will be completely deboned and stuffed with pork and a variety of spices and herbs.
