Watershed Founder and Director Lisa Donoughe is a cultural anthropologist who spent the first half of her career in New York City managing international PR campaigns for global brands, commodity boards and world-famous chefs. Since 1999, Lisa has lived and worked bi-coastally which allows the firm to maintain its 20-year relationships with the elite circle of national media who have been instrumental in increasing the visibility of Northwest cuisine and appreciation for all the exciting culinary stories Watershed has brought to the table.

Martha Holmberg has been the editor of the award-winning food section of The Oregonian, in Portland, since 2005. During that time, she launched MIX, a bi-monthly glossy on the Portland food scene. Her first
cookbook, “Puff” by Chronicle Books, was nominated for a 2009 IACP award. In 2008, Saveur included her in its “Top 100.” Before moving to Portland in 2005, she was editor of Fine Cooking magazine for 11 years. She worked in London and Paris as a cookbook editor and private chef, and helped launch the La Varenne program at The Greenbrier. She received her culinary training at La Varenne in France, from

Helen Baldus brings over 15 years experience in the food and hospitality industry to her role of Media Relations Director. Prior to joining Watershed Communications, Helen worked for Bullfrog & Baum for 9 years, and before that spent five years as a professional cook and pastry chef in various restaurants in San Francisco, including Jardinière. Helen has direct access to key media in all platforms and a proven track record of success. Lota LaMontagne has spent her adult life honing skills that make her a successful account executive with fresh ideas, a contemporary understanding of strategic communications and an honest love for the Northwest. With a degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon, Lota brings a writer’s perspective to story ideas and program development, and blends that with her experience spearheading high-profile media campaigns, such as multi-million dollar hotel launches. Stephanie Selk has worked on the Portland Indie Wine Festival and The Downtown Marketing Initiative, as well as consumer PR campaigns for Deschutes Brewery and the Oregon Brewers Guild.
