Portland’s DJ Mr. Mumu leads the dance party at Mother’s Velvet Lounge every Friday and Saturday night beginning March 12

Who said Mama doesn’t dance? Lisa Schroeder, chef/owner of Mother’s Bistro & Bar and Mama Mia Trattoria, knows a good beat when she hears one, and she is excited to announce that beginning Friday, March 12, DJ Mr. Mumu will spin tunes in Mother’s Velvet Lounge Friday and Saturday night. DJ Mr. Mumu, former resident DJ at Saucebox, is a favorite among the local dance scene who’s known for mixing live on vinyl, and spinning funky tunes that get the crowd going.

When:

Friday from 5 p.m. to close. Guests can enjoy the end of happy hour, which is from 3 – 6p.m on Mon –Fri. Saturday nights from 9 p.m. to close.
