Support the Gulf with Pig Parts at Irving St. Kitchen

Irving St. Kitchen Pairs Pork, Live Blues, Pinot and Oysters from EaT: An Oyster Bar To Raise Money For The Greater New Orleans Foundation’s Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund

What:
On Saturday, July 31 Irving St. Kitchen will host an afternoon of live blues, BBQ, oysters and
pinot noir to benefit the victims of the Gulf oil spill.

Chef Sarah Schafer will be slow-roasting a Carlton Farms pig on the patio and serve it up with gumbo, sliders and all the fixin’s, too, while the fellas at EaT: An Oyster Bar shuck away! Wine Director Nicole Burke has organized a walk-around wine tasting of the following wineries’ pinot noir: Anam Cara, Owen Roe, Argyle, Archery Summit, Patton Valley, Domaine Drouhin, Elk Cove, Copain Cellars, Lioco, Ponzi and Syncline. Who needs Dixie beer when you have Oregon pinot noir?

Enjoy it all even more with live music by The Scott Pemberton Trio.

A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund.
