

Order Up A Fried Chicken Meal To-Go From The Country Cat All 4th of July Weekend!
WHAT:
The Country Cat Dinnerhouse & Bar is offering its signature Fried Chicken Meal To-Go this 4th of July weekend for $12. The affordable picnic-friendly meal - only available for the holiday weekend - pairs perfectly with good company and brings with it a whole mess of fun.
Each order includes:
• Two pieces of Executive Chef/Butcher Adam Sappington’s signature boneless fried chicken – a family recipe passed down by his Great Granny Maude Marie Murphy of Vienna, Missouri. Each piece is brined for two days, smothered in Sappington’s secret spice dredge and then cast-iron skillet fried into the chicken we know, love and crave.
• One side of bacon-braised collard greens, BBQ baked beans or cole slaw.
• One of Jackie Sappington’s homemade biscuits.
Pre-orders are recommended, but not necessary. Fried Chicken Meal is available while supplies last. Additional sides are $5 each.
The Country Cat Dinnerhouse & Bar is a family-friendly, neighborhood restaurant located in Portland’s Montavilla neighborhood that serves up down-home fine dining seven days a week. From the fried chicken to the whole hog plate to butchering locally-raised animals in the restaurant's kitchen, Executive Chef/Butcher Adam Sappington and his wife Pastry Chef Jackie prepare and craft everything in house.
